Mako Shark fishing charters will start from January 1st each year until April.
Offshore ocean reef and bottom fishing will be all year round.
All the Shark burly, baits and strong hooks will be supplied and ready to go!

Offshore Fishing in Melbourne
The most famous species of shark to target in our local waters is the super popular MAKO SHARK.
Now this shark
means business, just by looking at the photos and videos does not compare until you finally see one in the flesh, they are mean and angry with a face full of sharp teeth
but we still choose to catch them!
Fishing
with a big burly trail out the back of the boat often without a bait in the water we will have these sharks
come up and circle our boat, its an amazing site to see as you hand feed one of these beast
right next to the boat.
We will also have several baits out on balloons at different depths.
Once the shark
eats the bait that is when it gets exciting, These sharks
are known for being the fastest shark
to swim in the ocean and known to jump up to 20 feet out of the water!
We will be using wire trace rigs with Shimano Game outfits to target these sharks.
Blue Sharks, Bronze Whalers, Hammerheads & Thresher Sharks
are also a very popular species as we target sharks offshore.
While we wait, we will be fishing on the bottom for species such as School Sharks, Gummy Sharks, Snapper, Flathead and more!
What you need
Your own food, sea sick tablets if necessary,
Appropriate footwear, hat and sunglasses
An esky in your car
to keep fish fresh
on your way home.
Soft drink & bottled water supplied.
(Alcohols welcome onboard in moderation)

A valid Victorian Fishing Licence must be present while fishing on our vessel and can be purchased via the link below.
You will not need a licence to fish if you are, under 18 years of age or 70 years of age or over.
